Creating Differences That Endure

Philanthropy is a fluid process, with ever changing priorities and challenges. That is why the funds of the Community Foundation are designed to make an impact under any circumstance, at any time. Our staff, partners, and donors work together to provide responsive support for both current needs and future plans.

Many of our grants are made possible by Legacy Funds established by families so that the Community Foundation can respond to changing community needs. Grants are designed around the spirit of the donors' wishes and made through our affiliates in Monmouth County, Morris County, and Newark. Some of our most recent grants included:

Monmouth County Public Schools

A challenge grant to match up to $25,000 for classroom projects, speakers, field trips, and more through DonorsChoose.org/MonmouthNJ. Funding made possible by the Henrietta McPherson Fund and the Margaret B. Thompson Fund.

Family Service of Morris County
