Monmouth Beach First Aid Squad Dedicates New HQ

img_1081On Saturday, the Community Foundation of New Jersey was pleased to attend the dedication of the Monmouth Beach First Aid Squad headquarters, which was restored after sustaining significant damage as a result of Hurricane Sandy.

The Community Foundation’s Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund made a grant of $35,000 to assist with the restoration.

Pictured at right is James Dolan, a young man who experienced cardiac arrest six years ago. The Monmouth Beach First Aid Squad saved James’s life, and he has since become a volunteer for the squad.

We wish James and the entire Monmouth Beach First Aid Squad the best in their new facility.
