2008 Newark Legacy Fund Grants

Families who contribute to or establish Legacy Funds can specify an issue, cause or hometown that they would like to have their charitable legacy impact. The Community Foundation can then respond quickly and nimbly to ever-changing community needs through grants designed around the spirit of the donor’s wishes.

• Help USA (Newark). Grants to fund “service-enriched” affordable housing that will help low-income families living with AIDS to become and remain self-reliant. Funding made possible by the Essex County Fund and Charles F. Nesler Trust Fund.
