How You Can Help

The Greater New Orleans Foundation has used its Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund to support an organization providing critical services to fishermen during a time of what could be the nation’s worst environmental disaster in decades.

The Seedco Financial Southeast Louisiana Fisheries Assistance Center in Belle Chasse is the only one-stop resource center of its kind, providing information and resources to commercial fishermen who are directly impacted by the April 20th Gulf oil spill. To date, more than 350 clients have accessed business assistance services due to the oil spill.
