The Community Eye was created to fund cutting-edge crime-fighting technology for Newark's most volatile streets. It allows families, businesses, foundations, and community groups to respond collectively to this critical challenge.

• Funds raised through Community Eye will enable Newark to deploy gun-detection sensors and 50 public safety surveillance cameras over a seven-square-mile area, where 80% of gun violence takes place.
