New Jersey Health Initiatives Launches ‘Request for Information’

April 2, 2024

New Jersey Health Initiatives (NJHI) is pleased to announce a Request for Information (RFI) process to gather information to lead its work. This RFI will help NJHI identify groups, coalitions, networks, and organizations (“groups”) doing deep and meaningful community-driven work in New Jersey. The purpose of the RFI is to conduct a landscape analysis of community organizing groups in New Jersey to guide NJHI’s future resource allocation. The information gathered will allow NJHI – and other funders – to better align resources with the needs of community organizing groups in the state.

NJHI works to create a healthier, more equitable New Jersey by investing in community groups and networks rooted in racial equity and centered on systems change. NJHI is managed through a collaborative relationship among the Community Foundation of New Jersey, the Community Foundation of South Jersey, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

To respect people’s time, we are releasing the RFI in a three-step process so that only eligible groups are asked to complete it.

Please learn more about the RFI process below and consider participating if eligible. If you, or a group you know, prefer to participate in this process in a language besides English or Spanish, please email us at agarcia@njjhi.org letting us know your preferred language and we will reach out with next steps. We appreciate your collaboration in sharing this widely.

Thank you for your interest and support!
